Framed Specimen – Black Forest Grasshopper & Greater Banded Hornet

Two genuine specimens displayed together: a Black Forest Grasshopper (Traulia azureipennis) and Greater Banded Hornet (Vespa tropica), carefully mounted in a shadow box frame with their common and scientific names.

The grasshopper's striking blue wings alongside the bold colouring and form of the hornet make this an especially eye-catching natural history display piece.

These are genuine dry-preserved specimens. As with all natural specimens, minor variations or imperfections may be present.

These specimens are non-CITES species and have been sourced as preserved specimens in accordance with applicable New Zealand biosecurity requirements.
